Dua Lipa has a new album on the way, which the pop star revealed as part of a profile for the New York Times Magazine. Her follow-up to 2020’s Future Nostalgia is due some time in 2024. The profile heavily suggests that Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker worked on the record, saying it’s “a rumor she all but confirms by denying.”
After Future Nostalgia, Dua Lipa worked with the Blessed Madonna for Club Future Nostalgia, a remix album that featured guest appearances from Missy Elliott, Madonna, Mark Ronson, and more. She’s since collaborated on new material with the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Calvin Harris, and Elton John, and has launched both a podcast and a “cultural concierge” newsletter. The singer more recently appeared as mermaid Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s summer blockbuster, releasing the single “Dance the Night” as part of the Barbie film soundtrack.
