‘Pretentious’ Heather Dubrow blasted for boasting about $16M mansion: ‘Out of touch’

Reality TV

Fans are claiming this Real Housewife is “out of touch.”

Heather Dubrow has been slammed on social media for boasting about her newly purchased $16 million Beverly Hills mansion.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star announced the real estate venture via Instagram Tuesday, with a “Barbie” headshot featuring the slogan, “This Barbie is building her next dream house!”

The reality star, 54, wrote in the caption, “Watch out Beverly Hills, The Dubrow dream house is officially underway! Lots of house updates to come… We are so excited to redo this legendary home (should take about 3 years).”

She then urged her followers to share what they would like to see from the renovation process before adding the hashtag, “LIVEYOURDREAM.”

But some fans weren’t as thrilled for the Bravolebrity and her husband, Terry Dubrow, as they accused the couple of flaunting their wealth.

“I’m sorry but many are out here trying to survive with over priced housing and groceries, we really don’t need to see more rich people buying and renovating million dollar properties. So sad this is where we are in America,” one person wrote.

“This Barbie is tone death, out of touch and pretentious,” another added.

“Most unrelatable person on tv,” a third chimed in.

“Sick of these super wealthy people pushing what they have in your face!” a fourth wrote.

“Her construction work and renovations will be putting money back into her community too,” one commenter wrote.

“She’s creating a three year job where likely many people will be paid for their time, skills, work and supplies. Hopefully her reno will give someone the stability of a great job for three years.”

“Yesss 👏 can’t wait to watch the process!! Kitchen, outdoor space and bathrooms will be my fav to see,” another gushed.

“Heck yes I want to watch the process—everything you’re willing to share!” a third wrote.

To which another commented, “Can we please get an entire show dedicated to the whole process?! I would watch every week 😅🤓.”

Terry also dished on the million-dollar property earlier this week, revealing that the estate needed lots of TLC.

“It needs a lot of work,” the “Botched” star, 64, said on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “It’s going to really test Heather.”

The plastic surgeon went to describe his wife, who will be taking the lead on the renovations, as “a real estate design genius.”

The couple, who married in 1999, recently sold their Orange County mansion for $55 million before buying in Beverly Hills.

Despite their new mansion, Heather has no plans of transitioning to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“She knows a lot of the Beverly Hills Housewives,” Terry told us. “But our roots are in Orange County. My practice is in Orange County.”
