Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are reportedly working hard to save their marriage after their separation.
“Kyle and Mauricio’s relationship is a work in progress. She is taking things day by day,” a source told “Entertainment Tonight” Thursday.
The insider emphasized that the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and the Agency founder are continuing to make their family a “priority” amid their marital woes.
“They are both taking their kids into consideration,” the source added. “They want to keep their family unified no matter what happens.”
Regardless of the outcome of their struggles, Richards, 54, and Umansky, 53, “want to have a consistently healthy, trustworthy, loving and honest dynamic,” according to the outlet.
“Their kids are hoping for the best,” the source shared.
The Bravolebrities share three daughters together: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Umansky also helped raise Farrah Brittany, 34, whom Richards welcomed in her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
Page Six confirmed on July 3 that the fan favorite couple had decided to separate after 27 years of marriage.
Shortly afterward, Richards and Umansky released a statement clarifying that any reports of them “divorcing are untrue.”
“However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage,” the couple admitted. “But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”
The “Halloween Kills” actress and the “Buying Beverly Hills” star also made sure to include that “there has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part” after fans speculated on the nature of Richards’ close friendship with country music singer Morgan Wade.

Richards has since denied the romance rumors and has instead been playfully commenting on her husband’s Instagram photos more frequently.
Meanwhile, Umansky shared sweet snaps from their Fourth of July vacation in Aspen, Colo., which also featured one shot of him wearing his wedding band.
