Was Mauricio Umansky ready to call it quits with Kyle Richards?
A source tells Page Six that the “Buying Beverly Hills” star was being “very affectionate” with his now-estranged wife on the red carpet at the Homeless Not Toothless Gala in April.
Umansky, 53, was spotted posing with his hand on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s lower back. He also smiled and looked very supportive while she took solo photos.
According to the eyewitness, there didn’t appear to be any trouble in paradise, especially from his end, as he followed closely behind Richards, 54, into the event.
“He seemed very happy to be spending the evening with Kyle,” the source added.
People reported Monday that the couple had split after 27 years of marriage.
An insider confirmed that the pair are “still living under the same roof” and “remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
Richards and Umansky both denied divorce rumors earlier this year after she was seen leaving the gym without her wedding ring in February.

The Bravolebrity told Page Six at the time that reports of their marriage being on the rocks were “false” and that she was “unbothered” by them.
“A, I haven’t been wearing my big diamond ring, because there’s a lot of crime these days and I’m like, ‘I’m not comfortable,’” Richards said.
“And B, I had just come from the gym lifting weights, so I was like, ‘That thing sparked that?’”
Umanksy also shut down breakup speculation on the “Two Ts in a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge” podcast in April.
“We’re not getting divorced. I mean, it’s so dumb,” the real estate broker said.
“That one stupid story [came out] and then the girls all decided to talk about it on ‘Housewives,’ and so now it’s a storyline.”
The former couple, who got married in January 1996, share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.
Richards also shares daughter Farrah Brittany, 34, with her ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
Despite the split, the “Halloween Kills” actress appears to be on good terms with Umansky. The two were seen smiling together in a selfie posted on her Instagram Story Monday.
