“The Witcher” Season 3 Volume 1 Final Trailer Previews Henry Cavill’s Final Season as a Monster-Slayer

Henry Cavill’s final battle as Geralt of Rivia begins this Thursday with “The Witcher” Season 3 Volume 1, the brand new chapter in the epic monster-slaying saga from Netflix.

Volume 1 of “The Witcher” Season 3 will include episodes 1-5 and will be released globally on June 29 and Volume 2 will include episodes 6-8, releasing July 27.

Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg), and Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla of Cintra) are also back for “The Witcher” Season 3, starring alongside Henry Cavill.

In “The Witcher” Season 3…

“As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line — or risk losing each other forever.”

Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the showrunner and executive producer. Season 3 directors include Stephen Surjik, Gandja Monteiro, Loni Peristere, and Bola Ogun.

“The Witcher” Season 4 will see Liam Hemsworth taking over the role of Geralt.
