90 Day Fiancé Season 5 Couples: Who’s Still Together

Reality TV

90 Day Fiancé Season 5 aired back in 2017 and provided the franchise with several couples who remain relevant to the franchise in 2023. The season aired six new franchise relationship stories of international marriage and betrayal, which led to three couples staying together in 2023. Meanwhile, there were several messy divorces out of the 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 cast.

90 Day Fiancé Season 5 Success Rate

The success rate of 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 is exactly in the middle, as fifty-percent of the couples stayed together and fifty-percent called it quits. Both Evelyn Cormier and David Vázquez Zermeño, as well as Molly Hopkins and Luis Mendez, had very nasty divorces. Meanwhile, Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou broke up before they got married.

On the other hand, three 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couples remain together to this day. Josh and Aika Batterson only appeared on 90 Day Fiancé Season 5. However, they are still married. Meanwhile, the remaining two couples went on to become very well-known in the franchise. Both Annie Suwan and David Toborowsky and Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet are 90 Day Fiancé regulars. These couples have appeared across multiple 90 Day Fiancé franchise spin-off shows to air many exciting life updates.

Evelyn Cormier & David Vázquez Zermeño

Evelyn and David are the most recent 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couple who called it quits. This was somewhat surprising, because they appeared very confident in their romance even though Evelyn was just a teen compared to David, who was around a decade her senior.

After several years of marriage, Evelyn revealed that he had been abusive. Evelyn just announced that she is in a new relationship with Harrison Holland, an American man. She appears to have therefore moved on from her unhappy 90 Day Fiancé union with David. On the other hand, David’s current relationship status is more unclear.

Molly Hopkins & Luis Mendez

Molly and Luis are the other 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couple who divorced. Their marriage was far shorter than that of Evelyn and David. Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé fans were not surprised to hear that Molly and Luis split after just months of marriage given how much they argued.

Luis moved on to marry another woman after Molly, which was rumored to be his plan all along. However, those two ended up divorcing. Molly dated Brooklyn cop, Kelly Brown, on 90 Day: The Single Life. However, they broke up at the same time that she had a friendship split with her long-time best friend Cynthia Decker.

Nicole Nafziger & Azan Tefou

Nicole and Azan are a third 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couple who did not stay together, though they never made it through with getting married. Previously appearing on 90 Day Fiancé Season 4, Nicole and Azan are now considered franchise icons due to their messy relationship.

However, their many differences, combined with rumors that Azan was using Nicole for money, eventually did them in. This led to the couple calling things quits before getting married. Both Azan and Nicole appear to be single in 2023.

Josh & Aika Batterson

Josh and Aika are one of three 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couples who remain happily together in 2023. Unlike many of their fellow Day Fiancé Season 5 cast members, they didn’t continue in the franchise. However, they managed to form a happy relationship off-camera.

Josh and Aika memorably argued about having kids and Josh’s vasectomy during their time on 90 Day Fiancé Season 5. In 2023, they do not have a child. However, they are happily living together in the United States and share life updates on their joint Instagram account.

Elizabeth Potthast & Andrei Castravet

Libby and Andrei are another 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couple who are still together in 2023. The couple are actually franchise regulars known for appearing on the spin-off show 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? However, they have mixed popularity due to their constant drama with Libby’s family.

Despite being considered annoying to many viewers, Andrei and Libby are undeniably a thriving franchise couple. They have two children in 2023 and live in Florida even though Andrei faced fears of being deported back to Moldova due to visa issues.

Annie Suwan & David Toborowsky

Annie and David are the final 90 Day Fiancé Season 5 couple who are still together. They are also one of the most successful 90 Day Fiancé franchise couples of all time, as they went on to star on many spin-off shows and were even handed their own spin-off due to their popularity.

Annie and David became popular first due to Pillow Talk, a show that saw them offering 90 Day Fiancé franchise commentary. Now, they are also known for Annie’s amazing Thai cooking skills. David and Annie are wealthy and thriving in 2023, though they were very impoverished when they first got together.
