Chris Larangeira wishes his ex-wife, “Jersey Shore” star Angelina Pivarnick, “nothing but the best” amid her engagement to Vinny Tortorella.
“Just to clarify for those that say I’m bitter or hate Angelina. That is the furthest from the truth,” Larangeira — who was married to Pivarnick for three years — wrote via his Instagram Story Thursday.
“You CAN NOT have resentment if you truly want to heal and better yourself,” he went on, acknowledging that although he “may joke around at times,” he is “very happy for Angelina and her new fiancé.”
The Staten Island sanitation worker added, “I’ve spoken to her a lot in recent times and I always tell her how happy I am for her and wish her nothing but the best.”
Larangeira even referred to Tortorella as “a great guy.”
“Life is too short to live with anger and have hate in your heart,” he concluded. “Love everyone and love each day you’re alive. God bless you all 🙏🏼.”
In recent months, Larangeira has been documenting his post-split “healing” journey via social media, making jokes like, “This single life is really starting to get boring. I’m ready to start getting yelled at again.”
Meanwhile, Pivarnick said “yes” to Tortorella’s proposal at her November 2022 “divorce party.” However, they kept the news under wraps until it aired in an April episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
“My best friend, I love you so much, and I just wanted to give you something,” the model said to the MTV personality as he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring in front of her shocked co-stars. “Love you, Ang, and I hope that you’ll marry me.”
Just as surprised, Pivarnick eventually replied, “100 times over. Yes, babe!”
In a confessional the following day, she shared, “If you would have told me that I would have my divorce party last night and now I’m engaged officially, I would tell you right now you’re full of dog s–t.”
“But here I am, engaged, and I’m getting married again!” she added as she showed off her diamond.

Though it’s unclear when the two began dating, they made their red carpet debut as a couple in February.
Meanwhile, she and Larangeira, 46, dated for three years before tying the knot in November 2019.
Pivarnick, 36, initially filed for divorce in January 2021 amid allegations of infidelity on both sides, a lack of intimacy and Larangeira’s decision to temporarily move out, but the case was dismissed several months later.
Despite going to couples therapy, they were not able to save their marriage, and Larangeira ended up filing his own paperwork in January 2022.
Their divorce was finalized in May.
