Kroy Biermann is firing back at claims that estranged wife Kim Zolciak has been “locked out” of their online store, The Biermanns’ Closet.
“Biermanns’ Closet is a family business; Kim designated the items to be sold, and Kroy insured [sic] that items were listed on the site and delivered to the customer,” Biermann’s attorney told Us Weekly on Friday.
“Until recently, there had been little activity on the site,” the attorney went on. “However, since the divorce, there has been some traffic, and some items have been sold.”
According to the attorney, one of those items was a wig.
“These are wigs that Kim designated and approved were to be sold on the site,” the lawyer said, adding that “Kroy was just doing what he had always done.”
According to the lawyer, Biermann has always “managed the actual logistics of the site and ensured that all items purchased were recorded, processed and shipped.”
The retired football player, 37, was also apparently “integrally involved with” the company from the jump, as his lawyer explained that he “built the website, set up Shopify, set up affiliate marketing for the site with tracking links, took and posted pictures, wrote product descriptions, [and] received, fulfilled, processed and shipped orders.”
Reps for Zolciak did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Sources close to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 45, claimed to us on Thursday that she “has no access [to] and is locked out” of the online store, alleging that her estranged husband had something to do with it.
“So she wants to start a new shop with complete autonomy,” our sources added.

Zolciak also took to Instagram to urge her followers to “not purchase from Biermanns’ Closet at this time until further notice,” promising “a new website for all things Kim and kids.”
At the time of publication, The Biermanns’ Closet was still up and running, featuring items from the estranged couple’s personal wardrobes — as well as those of their six children — for sale.
Biermann and Zolciak share Kroy Jr. (KJ), 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. During their 11-year marriage, the former NFL star also legally adopted the ex-Bravolebrity’s daughters from a previous relationship: Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.
The pair are now in the midst of a nasty custody battle, with each requesting sole legal and physical custody of their four youngest kids.
Though Biermann was the one who filed for divorce on May 5, insiders previously told us that Zolciak had wanted to do so for “months.”
News of the “Don’t Be Tardy” alums’ split came in tandem with reports claiming they owe the IRS more than $1 million in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties.
The duo has apparently been dealing with financial hardships behind closed doors for some time.
Amid their contentious separation, Biermann has claimed that Zolciak’s alleged gambling problem “financially devastated” their family.
He also accused her of punching him in the back of the head during an altercation concerning disputed property, per a police report.
