Ariana Madix’s BFF Jared Lipscomb revealed the texts Tom Sandoval allegedly sent him after he slammed the bar owner for making an insensitive joke about cancer.
“’Jared, I absolutely did not mean to offend you or anyone else, for that matter,”’ the screenwriter — who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 — read on Kristen Doute’s “Sex, Love and What Else Matters” podcast Wednesday, claiming that Sandoval was “starting off with just no apology.”
‘”That was not a joke about cancer,’” he continued reading. “‘I’ve lost family members to cancer. I’ve been nothing but supportive through your battle and journey, have I not?’”
Lipscomb claimed the “Vanderpump Rules” star, 40, maintained that he “was simply giving an example” of a situation where the lyrics to Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” song don’t apply.
“’This is also why we can’t travel to outer space or live on the moon,” he continued reading. “‘It’s too much radiation. Can I get a little bit of benefit of the doubt here? You know me a little bit better than that. Hope you’re doing well. Heart emoji.’”
Doute — who dated Sandoval before he moved on with Madix — accused her ex of “gaslighting” Lipscomb in the texts, but the makeup artist made sure the TomTom co-founder could no longer contact him.

“I have never blocked someone so fast in my life. … Like, what is happening?” Lipscomb said. “If he’s able to do that to me just for one thing he’s upset about … all he had to say was, ‘I’m so sorry that I misspoke.’”
More than two weeks ago, Sandoval appeared on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast to talk about his scandalous affair with “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Raquel Leviss.
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” Howie Mandel told Sandoval, to which the reality star quipped, “Like radiation.”
The Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman immediately tried to rectify the situation, calling his remark a “bad joke.”
After Lipscomb got wind of his comments, he posted a scathing video on Instagram addressing his bestie’s ex.
“My blood is boiling, what a f–king coward, how dare he?” he said in the clip. “I don’t care if it’s a joke in poor taste. F–k you. You are weak to compare what people go through in radiation during treatment … you are scum.”
Lipscomb then shared that he had been through a dozen rounds of radiation and “thought that was going to kill me.”
“I am so disgusted by this video and his little quip … I can’t even believe I considered you a friend. F–k you.”
Things for Sandoval have not been going so well after Madix, 38, caught him having an affair with Leviss, 28.
The actress called it quits with her boyfriend of nearly a decade after finding an explicit video of the former beauty pageant queen on Sandoval’s phone.
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
