Fans of “Love Is Blind” alum Shayne Jansen have expressed concern after the reality star appeared erratic on a recent Instagram Live.
The real estate broker, 33, appeared to be fidgeting and struggled to form coherent sentences during the livestream last Sunday.
One fan shared a clip from the original video via TikTok,captioning it, “He’s always been energetic but seems to be on something? Hope he gets help.”
In the video, Jansen’s hair appeared disheveled as he mumbled about America being “a free country” and commenting that he “self sabotages everything.”
“I got spooked for a hot minute but then I’m like … ’no one can spook me,’” said Jansen, whose beloved mother, Karen, died last October.
The “Perfect Match” star’s chaotic behavior continued as he answered a fan’s question about who he was “rooting” for on the fourth season of “Love Is Blind.”
Several fans expressed worry for Jansen in the comments section.
“Intervention ASAP. so sad,” one user wrote, while another commented, “Someone please check on him reality TV has not been well for him.”
A third person echoed this sentiment, urging him to get help. “Poor guy. Is clearly struggling. I hope he gets the help he needs. It’s never too late to try,” they wrote.
Other people likened his behavior to actor Charlie Sheen, who openly struggled with substance abuse issues for years before getting sober.
“If anyone has seen the Charlie Sheen videos where he’s high and talking about tiger blood. This is very similar,” one person argued.
Another speculated, “Noooo…..Omg what is he on???”

Some fans even noted they had been worried about Jansen since he first appeared on TV screens during Season 2 of the hit Netflix show.
“First of all we’ve always been concerned about Shayne….” one person wrote, with another adding, “….everyone is JUST NOW concerned for him???”
When Page Six contacted Jansen via email for comment regarding the reactions to the Instagram Live, he simply responded, “lmao ‘fan accounts.’”
The TV personality, who struggles from “severe ADHD,” previously denied using drugs while filming “Love Is Blind.”
“Have I [used drugs]? Yes. On the show I did not. I have experience with a few of them. Nothing that’s been injected into my body, but I think we’ve all had our times in our lives where we’ve done certain things,” he told Nick Viall on “The Viall Files” podcast in March.
“People thought I was doing cocaine. I’m mic’d up the whole time. Everyone would have heard me do it. It’s wild to think that I was carrying cocaine on me, and I was snorting lines and doing all this kind of stuff in the bathroom when I’m mic’d up.”
