Former Chrisley Knows Best Star Lindsie Chrisley Reveals Why She Hasn’t Visited Julie Chrisley In Prison

Reality TV

Lindsie Chrisley is the lesser-known sister in the Chrisley family. She is one of Todd Chrisley’s two children by his first wife. Lindsie has also had a very questionable relationship with her father and his second spouse, Julie Chrisley.

When Chrisley Knows Best first premiered, Lindsie was featured as a newly-married mom of a young child. She participated in all of the usual Chrisley antics, but in Season 5, Lindsie basically disappeared. It seemed as the core family became more famous, Todd’s relationships with his two oldest children broke down. Per Us Weekly, it was rumored Lindsie was the source behind the info that led to Todd’s arrest in 2019.

Todd and Julie’s legal troubles didn’t end, they only got worse. Much worse. Cut to June 2022 when they were convicted of bank fraud and sentenced to prison. Todd earned himself twelve years and Julie got six. They both reported to their respective facilities in early 2023. Naturally, the drama has garnered a great deal of media attention and prior to being locked away, Lindsie apparently made amends with her parents.

Now Todd and Julie are in their new homes and Lindsie has definitely kept her followers informed of their progress. She has visited Todd, but Julie has yet to receive the pleasure. According to Lindsie, it’s paperwork complications. Page Six has the details.

After the couple attempted to submit fake documents to banks and multiple other sketchy paper-doctoring, they finally got nabbed after years of defending themselves. Julie and Todd did not admit guilt and take a plea deal, so now they’re basically sitting on a cot paying their dues to society.

While Todd and Julie have been on the receiving end of lovely visits from family, Lindsie isn’t on Julie’s guest list. On an episode of her Southern Tea podcast, Lindsie said, “I have not been to Lexington to visit her [Julie] yet.” She explained it’s been a “frustrating” ordeal trying to navigate the visitation process.

“I sent in all of my paperwork and have yet to hear back regarding the visiting. So, it’s been a little bit frustrating,” Lindsie explained. Also, Julie’s prison has a whole different way of approving visitors that differs from Todd’s prison policy.

“The attempts to try to communicate have been a lot different than communicating with my dad,” she shared. Lindsie might be having issues, but Savannah Chrisley certainly isn’t. Both Sassy and Nanny Faye have seen Julie and say she is “doing very well.”

Is that odd? I don’t know because I’m not currently visiting many friends or family members in jail. Perhaps Julie’s prison only allows a certain number of people approved at a time. Or maybe Julie just doesn’t want to see the person who allegedly tipped off the Feds because she was mad at Daddy. Don’t worry, as soon as Lindsie is able to see Julie, she’ll let her followers know less than 30 seconds after she receives the info.
