Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore loves the spotlight. That is often reflected in her fashion choices, and she has delivered some incredible looks over the years. Whether she’s filming Real Housewives, or simply headed to an event, she doesn’t just dress for the occasion: she makes a moment.
Miss USA
Don’t call her Miss America! Kenya is very proud of her Miss USA credentials, and rightly so. Even Whitney Houston had major love for this winner, according to Kenya herself. Before her time on RHOA, she won the title all the way back in 1993. Looking at her stunning dress and signature smile, it’s clear to see why. This is the first time a lot of Americans saw Kenya in all her glory. She undoubtedly left a lasting impression, earning a red carpet spot for the years to come.
Coyote Ugly
A few years after the release of the movie Coyote Ugly, Kenya delivered a look straight out of the film. She wouldn’t look out of place pulling drinks for the patrons at her local bar, or up on the bar itself dancing for their entertainment. The almost Western-like top with gold embellishments is a real serve. Adding those casual jeans and gold heels makes for an outfit that probably wouldn’t work in the modern day, but gave EVERYTHING back then.
Foreshadowing Her Peachy RHOA Arrival
Real Housewives was clearly calling Kenya’s name here. She wears the signature peachy orange that Atlanta has become renowned for, especially when it comes time for the reunion shows. It would be one of the first of many times we see her in the color. From the earrings to the belt and the bangles, down to the platform shoes, Kenya knows exactly how to dish up a look. It’s classy and dignified. Fashion clearly comes second nature to this runway star.
Pink To Make The Boys Wink
Kenya was born to be a reality TV star. But it also appears she was born to be a fashion icon. During one of her first appearances on Watch What Happens Live, she rocked this pink off-the-shoulder dress. Those studded silver heels and hoop earrings complete what is a sophisticated, simple, and glamorous offering. It looks comfortable, and Kenya was clearly vibing. Just one moment from many in years to come that would see her leave her unmistakable mark on Bravo.
Gone With The Wind Fabulous
Stepping out into the New York weather is a risk for anybody. When Kenya visited in 2013, that was no different. As we all know, however, she is “gone with the wind fabulous.” She isn’t going to let a little bit of windy weather dim her shine. This ruffled purple gown screams elegance, but that’s not all. More than most people, Kenya knows how to perfect a full outfit. Here, she opts for simple silver heels and some gorgeous accessories, including earrings and chunky bangles.
Purple Is Her Color
If you had to gift a Real Housewife a color, you would give Kenya purple. It looks incredible on her no matter what she is wearing. This is one of the more complicated pattern designs she has gone for across the years. The deeper shades of purple mixed with the lighter tones allows the RHOA legend to deliver a bold and eye-catching fashion moment. Not just anybody could wear this dress, but Kenya pulls it off with relative ease. Gorgeous, from head to toe!
A Statement Necklace
It’s rare that we get a big statement necklace moment from Kenya! While some people would look as if they were wearing costume jewellery with this piece, the RHOA alum shines bright. The way it sits atop that mesmerizing pink dress is to die for. The dress itself is fitted perfectly. It hugs Kenya’s shape and looks comfortable. Some Real Housewives suffer for their fashion, but that isn’t necessary here. Instead, this outfit is executed with a smile.
Shining Like The Sun
The way this dress changes fabric partway down is a simple effect, but one that allows for Kenya to look as dazzling as ever. Yellow is another color that really allows the Real Housewives star to pop. Like a Goddess from Mount Olympus, she shines in yellow. Proving once again that she knows how to match accessories to her statement piece, she opts for simple but spotlight-stealing jewellery. Those shoes also look EXPENSIVE. We would expect nothing less.
Who’s For Icecream?
Working in a 1960’s diner probably isn’t Kenya’s style. Still, she is able to rock the look. This is one of the most daring outfits the RHOA star has worn, but fans are glad she did. The cute little pink bow is the cherry on top of a busy but stylish offering. Make sure you check out the matching bows on her feet, and the entire look comes together in tremendous fashion. Let’s hope Kenya goes for some more bold outfit choices like this in the future.
Dancing With The Stars

She may not have swept the competition, but some of the gowns Kenya wore during her time on Dancing With The Stars were jaw-dropping. This one in particular allowed her to deliver arguably her best performance in style. It is clear from this moment that Kenya wouldn’t look out of place in any ballroom. Sure, her dance moves can leave a lot to be desired, but half of the battle is looking the part. She made sure to do that every time she stepped out to perform.
