Meghan King is firing back at ex-husband Jim Edmonds after he filed a motion to modify their existing custody agreement.
“History can kind of speak for itself,” the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum told Page Six at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles Monday night.
“Jim has had three separate mothers of his children, and we’ve all experienced the same kind of thing,” she claimed. “So I’m just gonna let that speak for itself.”
The former Bravolebrity, 38, added, “I’m just continuing to be the best mom I can. So to me, nothing will change or has changed. I’m just focused on my children, they’re always my No. 1 priority, and they always will be. That’s all there is to it.”
King admitted she was most excited to see Pink at the event, noting that the pop star’s music “got [her] through some really hard times in [her] life.”
King and Edmonds — who were married from October 2014 to May 2021 — currently share custody of daughter Aspen, 6, and twin sons Hayes and Hart, 4.
But earlier this month, the retired MLB star filed paperwork to change their arrangement, calling it “impractical and unworkable” in court documents obtained by People.
Edmonds is seeking “a greater amount of time with the three children and a more consistent schedule.”
As it stands, he and King each submit their custody schedule 30 days in advance. If they are unable to come to an agreement on days for the month, a Parent Coordinator intervenes to make a final decision.
But a source close to the sports broadcaster alleged to Page Six that “Meghan does everything possible to make life difficult for Jim and in the process also makes life difficult for her children.
“Sometimes it seems she hates Jim more than she lives [sic] her kids. Jim is really upset about how Meghan’s actions affect the children.”
The source went on to claim that “on the days Jim picks the kids up from school, Meghan will dress them in pajamas so their good school clothes don’t end up at Jim’s house.”

Edmonds’ rep told People that he and his fourth wife, Kortnie O’Connor — who tied the knot in September 2022 — “believe Meghan is unstable, unfit, unwilling to co-parent and unable to provide an environment for the children that is emotionally and physically safe.
“If Meghan is unable to effectively parent and co-parent under [the newly proposed] agreement, Jim is prepared to continue to seek greater custody of the children to ensure their emotional and physical well-being.”
In a statement of her own, the “Intimate Knowledge” podcast host said, “I’ve been the primary parent and single mother of my children with zero issues except for the ones in which Jim causes.
“His salacious claims are unfounded and will be found so in court. My children have always been and always will be my top priority.”
