Stylist Law Roach Seemingly Retires in Eyebrow-Raising Message

Law Roach is leaving the fashion world with a bang.

The celebrity stylist—whose countless clients includes Zendaya, Tom HollandCéline Dion, Anya Taylor-JoyPriyanka Chopra and Kerry Washington—announced his retirement on March 14. Sharing a graphic reading “RETIRED,” Roach wrote on Instagram, “My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years.”

“Every person that trusted me with their image,” he continued, “I’m so grateful for you all.”

But before concluding his announcement, the 44-year-old also had some eyebrow-raising words that seemingly hinted as the reason behind his abrupt departure from the industry. “If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not,” he wrote. “The politics , the lies and false narratives finally got me!”

Roach added, “You win … I’m out.”

After sharing his announcement, Roach received a number of message from fans and fellow stars. “Law I won’t let you !!!!” Naomi Campbell commented. “We don’t quit .. strived to [sic] hard.” While designer Christian Siriano simply wouldn’t accept the news, writing, “Absolutely not.”
