Former “Teen Mom” star Ryan Edwards was arrested on Wednesday for stalking his estranged wife, Mackenzie Edwards, and violating a protective order.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office released an official statement detailing that the arrest took place sometime in the afternoon. No further details were revealed.
His arrest comes almost a month after he was initially taken into custody for harassing Mackenzie, 27, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and violating an order of protection.
At the time, Ryan had taken to social media to bash Mackenzie for allegedly cheating on him before sharing a picture of her bare chest.
“If you guys have never seen a spineless slut this is one,” he captioned the now-deleted photo. “They take your money sleep with anything that looks at them. But they must have a wife to [sic]. God what a joke. It’s sad really.”

The mom of two — who share kids Jagger, 4, and Stella, 3 with Ryan — immediately went to the police and detailed a series of alleged domestic violence incidents that have occurred since they got married in 2017.
She claimed that during a January fight “Ryan punched holes in the walls and doors,” held her up by the neck “to the wall,” threw her “down in a hallway and said if he could not have me no one could.”
She continued, “Opened pocket knife, put to my back like he was going to kill me. This was in front of children. I tried to leave, he smashed my phone, took my car keys.”
Mackenzie then detailed a second fight they had a week later, where he “[he] came into bedroom where I was laying down” and pretended “like he’s going to punch my face.”
He also allegedly broke the bed with her in it and got “in [her] face yelling.”
She further claimed, “I went to get kids and leave. He wouldn’t let me leave. Threw me down in living room. Threw menthol nicotine in my eyes.”
Taking matters into her own hands, Mackenzie then filed for divorce from Ryan on Tuesday. She was also granted a restraining order and given temporary custody of their children.
Ryan initially rose to fame when he appeared on “16 & Pregnant” with Maci Bookout. The two share a 14-year-old son, Bentley.
Since then, fans have seen him battle with addiction and get in trouble with the law multiple times.
In March 2018, the former reality TV star was arrested for violating his probation on a heroin-related charge. This led Bookout, 31, to get a restraining order against him.
That same year he was arrested for possession of heroin, which got him a prison sentence.
