Former Shahs Of Sunset Star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi Reveals 11-Pound Weight Loss From Ozempic; Previously Implied Kyle Richards Used The Drug

Reality TV

Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi was never at a loss for words on Shahs of Sunset and she certainly hasn’t become a wallflower since the cancellation. Fans of the show know GG wasn’t afraid to share her true feelings, which for most can be both a blessing and a curse. She regularly battled with her co-stars on a variety of issues, and seemingly moved on to irritating other Bravolebrities when filming of Shahs ceased.

Now GG is on a weight loss journey, and once again she is “keeping it real.” Unfortunately, it’s basically the blueprint on exactly what not to do. Page Six has the somewhat alarming details. In an Instagram video, GG admitted to losing more than 10 pounds whilst using Ozempic. She also demonstrated self-injection to viewers.

Fun fact: overuse of a non-prescribed medication that was created for a blood glucose disease can potentially lead to kidney failure. Hope those extra pounds are worth possible dialysis! In the video, GG said, “I am on the weight-loss shots, honey, OKAY. I’m just not going to lie about it because I always keep it real about what is fake.”

Obviously, this is a nod to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. Back in January, GG commented on a Page Six Instagram story highlighting Kyle’s body transformation. Kyle denied using anything but diet change and working out to lose weight. At the time, GG wrote, “I’m about to start the shots, oops, I mean start at the gym too!”

GG revealed she experienced health issues last year that made her gain weight. Now she wants to lose it by any means necessary. Even publicly administering a diabetes drug that requires a prescription and showing everyone how it’s done. This isn’t the flex GG seems to think it is.

She added, “I had to get a lot of steroid injections last year, which caused me to really pack on some weight and I don’t know if it’s because I’m 41 years old or I’ve had a baby.” Well by all means go ahead and start glorifying non-traditional methods. “Whatever it is, I’ve been having a very, very, very hard time getting rid of that weight,” GG explained.

GG started taking semaglutide four weeks ago and in that short time, she lost roughly 11 pounds. She turned the camera to a notebook that provided the data. Also, she increased her dosage from 10 to 20 units. Am… am I the only one highly disturbed by this presentation? But that’s not all, folks.

GG then proceeded to give a step-by-step process of injecting yourself. She stuck a “really, really small needle” into the side of her stomach area. I cannot stress enough how this is not the person anyone should listen to regarding weight loss or administering a syringe filled with medication. That said, GG seems to be very proud of herself for keeping it real. A little too real.

She said, “If you see people out there who just got skinny so fast all of a sudden and claimed they got healthy for the first time in their lives or that they got sober from alcohol that was causing them to gain so much weight … most likely, they’re just doing the shots.” Okay, but why does she care? She must care a lot because GG went on, “We know who you are. We see how skinny y’all are getting. It’s not rocket science. Just saying.”

GG might have a valid argument but it’s no one’s business. If Kyle wants to say she got thinner from Buddhist chanting on the Pacific Coast Highway, she’s allowed to do so. GG is certainly not a medical practitioner or in a position to judge anyone’s methods of weight loss. Also, GG has now put me in the position of defending Kyle, which I can never forgive.

With all due respect, this was an extremely irresponsible display. Hopefully, Kyle will not take the bait and respond once again to what people are suggesting or implying about her figure. And for everyone’s sake, Melissa Gorga needs to stay out of it.
