Summer House Star Mya Allen Blasts Ex Oliver Gray For “Faking” Who He Was; Did Not See “Red Flags”

Reality TV

Summer House finally returned and some fans wish it would go back where it came from. Gone are the days of carefree friendships and in its place we have an assortment of attitude problems, romance issues, and general unhappiness.

Now it seems filming is done from someone’s bed and everyone is in a bad mood. Knowing what eventually happens between Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard is like watching Titanic and there’s no room for Danielle on the door. Mya Allen returned to the House That Sadness Built and has her own personal drama to add.

Viewers watched Mya find a gentleman caller last season, but it turns out he was a giant phony and now she’s calling him out. Page Six has the details. Mya said, “No breakup is easy. I think I’m still dealing with a lot of it, but I think it’s so easy to want to blame yourself for not seeing the signs or not seeing the red flags, all of that. I think as women, we tend to do that.”

Apparently Oliver Gray had some “red flags” Mya was unable to see. Despite how much she adored him, Mya highlighted she wasn’t “oblivious” to the “signs.” She added “it’s almost worse” watching Summer House episodes because there “actually weren’t red flags that were apparent [at the time], but they existed.”

“He was really good at faking it. I think when the whistle blew, it blew.” On the bright side, Mya is getting a dose of not ignoring red flags going forward. Sometimes they have to wave directly in your face until you notice.

Mya shared she “didn’t do anything” to impact the outcome of the relationship, but “it doesn’t make it any easier.” She revealed the break up with Oliver happened in September 2022 while on Watch What Happens Live last week.

Her co-stars weren’t informed until the Winter House premiere, but Mya said they’ve had her back. “My core friends, Ciara [Miller], Amanda [Batula], Paige [DeSorbo] have been very supportive.”

The ladies have been checking on Mya and making sure she doesn’t sink into a break-up funk. ”They check in on me, they make sure that I’m staying afloat, and they’re doing what you would expect friends to do. So I’m very grateful for that,” she said.

Believe it or not, Lindsay even touched base with Mya who said she was “supportive.” Unfortunately, Danielle appears to still be waiting for that tender moment. Speaking of Danielle, Mya gave her a shout-out regarding the demise of her relationship with Robert Sieber.

She said, “I think it’s like that unspoken thing. Like, I know exactly what you’re going through, so if you need to talk to someone where it may not be like the prettiest, you can talk to me. It was just like, ‘Hey, this is hard. I’m here. I’m going through it. It’s still only a few months in for me, and like it’s still very fresh and raw, so we can do this together.’”

Well, Mya needs to heal a bruised heart and Danielle needs a friend and to heal a bruised heart. Maybe this is the foundation for an everlasting friendship. At least until another man comes along.
