Sasha Faber is a dancing professional who is featured on Dancing with the Stars. Sasha is also on his way to being a single man. Fellow dancer Emma Slater is Sasha’s soon-to-be ex-wife. While you may think being in the middle of a divorce is a real bummer, apparently Sasha isn’t letting it get him down.
Sasha and Emma began their relationship back in 2011. They broke up three years later and continued to work together on DWTS. After re-lighting the spark in 2015, Sasha gave Emma a very public marriage proposal during one of the show’s episodes. They married in March of 2018 with DWTS pros Lindsay Arnold, Witney Carson, and Derek Hough attending the event.
The couple sadly separated in April 2022 and Emma ultimately filed for divorce earlier in February. Sasha is keeping his spirits up amid the divorce proceedings and did what many people do when faced with having to date once again. He posted a thirst trap.
According to People, Sasha wasn’t looking too upset when he shared a completely candid, shirtless pic to his Instagram. The caption read, “Living the dream!!!!!!!!” Sure, if your dream is living on a tour bus. He added, ”Grateful and thankful for every day!”
I guess this is better than cryptic, inspirational posts designed to make a profound statement. His fans certainly appreciated his photographic effort and his friends got a kick out of it, too. Gleb Savchenko responded with three flame emojis and the official DWTS LIVE account commented with a bunch of raised hands emojis.
Kate Flannery, star of The Office and former DWTS contestant jumped in with, “What the f are you???” Sasha posted the hot shot mere hours after Emma filed for divorce. What else are you gonna do after your wife lawyers up? The legal papers cite irreconcilable differences as the cause of separation.
Sources confirm “Emma and Sasha still remain close” and “there’s no bad blood between them.” No bad blood but maybe Sasha is a little salty. Best of luck to these two as they navigate the daunting process of moving on, and according to Sasha, “living the dream.”
