Lizzo Covers Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy”: Watch

She played a flute solo during her Live Lounge rendition of the Grammy-winning song

Earlier this week, Lizzo performed two songs on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. First, she did “Special,” the title song of her Grammy-nominated album. Then, she covered Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Unholy,” throwing in a flute solo during the song for good measure. Watch her performances below.

Lizzo is a Live Lounge regular: She’s performed “Adore You,” “Butter,” and more for BBC Radio 1. Lizzo recently won the 2023 Grammy Award for Record of the Year for “About Damn Time.” She also performed at the 2023 BRIT Awards.

Sam Smith and Kim Petras won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2023 Grammys for “Unholy.” The artists have also recently brought the song to New York’s Saturday Night Live, the Grammys at Crypto.com Arena, and the BRIT Awards in London.
