Jen Shah Responds To Andy Cohen’s Claims That She Is The Reason For Heather Gay’s Black Eye

Reality TV

Heather Gay’s black eye might go down in Real Housewives history as one of the biggest unsolved mysteries. And Heather’s response to everything hasn’t exactly helped matters. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star changed her story about 100 times. I think it’s pretty obvious that’s one of the main reasons fans have turned on her.

So how did Heather get her black eye? Andy Cohen recently weighed in with his theory that Jen Shah was the one who caused it. Which most of us guessed anyway. But to hear Andy say it about the prison-bound former housewife was a surprise.

Now Jen’s rep is responding to Andy’s allegation with a big ole “no comment.” Well, sort of. Her rep told Life & Style that Jen “chooses to focus this time with her family” instead of the claims.

Her rep added, “I personally know that she has not spoken to Andy Cohen since before the reunion where he called her directly to beg her to attend the RHOSLC [Season] 3 reunion. That, coupled with the fact that we passed on the [one-on-one interview] six times seems to be where his aggressions lie.”

Whew! That is all shade towards Andy. And to be perfectly honest, not the smartest move if you ask me. Instead of a sit down with Andy, which would have garnered a ton of ratings and possibly made Jen a more sympathetic figure, she went in the exact opposite direction. She chose to hide her side of the story behind a website that requires a subscription.

Collecting personal emails after pleading guilty to scamming people with their own personal information!? YIKES. And no thank you.

Jen’s rep’s biting response comes after Andy agreed with guest Lala Kent on an episode of Watch What Happens Live that it was Jen who inflicted the injury to Heather’s eye.

But even before Andy gave his two cents, Jen made it clear that she would not be granting him an interview. After Jen received her sentence of 6.5 years in prison, she made an Instagram postexplaining why she wouldn’t sit down with Andy.

“I will not be doing the 1:1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo because of their unwillingness to remove contractual provisions that would allow the network to legally make misrepresentations of me and my story, relating to any and all topics, prior to and during the course of my participation,” she wrote on January 6, 2023.

Jen continued, “The specific 1 on 1 interview was not part of my RHOSLC reality TV contract. I promised myself and my loving family that I would not allow this portion of my life to be sensationalized or inaccurately conveyed.” She also noted that “too many people have been hurt by my actions and my inability to control my own narrative.”

TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT ANDY ADMITTED HE THINKS IT WAS JEN? WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT HER REP’S RESPONSE? IS ANDY BITTER THAT JEN WOULDN’T DO AN INTERVIEW WITH HIM?
