Whew! More off-camera drama out of Real Housewives of New Jersey and we literally just started the season. Despite being known for doing the least when it comes to her storylines, Melissa Gorga has decided this season that she’s going to do the most online.
As reported by Page Six, Melissa recently took to her Instagram Stories to slam her sister-in-law/enemy-numero-uno, Teresa Giudice. In the RHONJ season premiere episode, Melissa claimed that she texted Tre about not being part of her bridal party. But she alleged that Teresa didn’t respond for a full 3 weeks.
Melissa wrote in her IG Stories, “Guys! I see you’re all curious about the text messages! Someone is definitely spiraling And needs to ‘prove’ herself working overtime.” She added, “BUT THIS ALL PROVES MY POINT EVEN MORE!!!”
The veteran housewife went on to plead her case, saying, “[Teresa] did not reply to the text messages I sent after we filmed the reunion!! CRICKETS!!! It wasn’t until three weeks later, and after the reunion AIRED – she was getting all the backlash about how poorly she treated her brother and I – that THEN she felt the need to reach out and clean it up,” Melissa added.
The supposed messages were shared by AllAboutTRH and showed that instead of a normal response, Tre replied to Melissa with a picture of men with Easter eggs painted on their butts. Ok, that’s one way to handle it.
Given that Teresa waited until part one of the Season 12 reunion aired to respond with the egg butt photo, Melissa called her out for being disingenuous. “Her reaching out right at the same time we were about to start filming and finally wanting to discuss our relationship and how she can fix it was FAKE!” Melissa ranted.
She then went on to say, “That was inauthentic and was self-serving. We wanted off the roller coaster. Point blank. Can’t say much more now, but if you continue to watch this season, it will make much more sense.” So are we really not going to address why Tre chose a booty photo as a reply? I guess not. Moving on.

In the messages, Tre confessed that she felt like the family had “gone backwards” after watching the reunion. She then invited Melissa to lunch. But Melissa wasn’t in the forgiving mood and responded the next day with a whole diatribe.
The one hit song wonder called Teresa “calculated” for trying to “fix the family again for the one hundredth time” after viewers responded to the reunion. “I feel like this text is about you and not really about us. Especially when we’re just about to go into filming again in two weeks. After all these years I’ve finally found a way to accept the way our relationship is,” Melissa wrote.
She then declined lunch and said that Tre “drew the line in the sand” by not only keeping her out of her bridal party, but by also announcing it publicly before telling Melissa in private.
Melissa concluded, “You’ve said multiple times on interviews that we will never be friends. I agree with you. We will always be family and I will always wish you nothing but the best. See you soon.” She then added a smiley face emoji for good measure which, talk about inauthentic!
Two days later, Tre wrote back via text to thank Melissa for her “heartfelt and genuine” words. Teresa also apologized “from the bottom of my heart.” She tried one more time to get Melissa to talk, but Melissa said she was “fine” with their relationship being nonexistent.
Teresa went a little further and asked the Gorga’s over for her birthday but Melissa responded that they couldn’t make it. She did end up sending flowers to Tre’s birthday bash, which Teresa thanked her for.
Despite sounding kind of promising, it clearly didn’t last long. During filming, Teresa allegedly had a hand in some infidelity rumors about Melissa and husband Joe Gorga. The end result was Melissa and Joe not attending Tre’s over-the-top nuptials to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK TRE WAS FAKE FOR REACHING OUT TO MELISSA THE NIGHT THE REUNION AIRED? DOES MELISSA HAVE A POINT IN ALL THIS? WILL THESE TWO EVER BE FRIENDS?
