Dolores Catania: ‘It’s time’ for Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga to ‘part ways’

Reality TV

Blood may not be thicker than water after all.

Dolores Catania believes Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga need put an end to their tumultuous relationship by cutting all ties.

“I think it’s time,” Catania, 52, said on “Watch What Happens Live” Tuesday after the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 13 premiere.

When asked if she was on Team Giudice or Team Gorga, Catania responded, “I’ve never took a side. With family, you don’t because you lose at the end of the day.”

She then reiterated, “I just think it’s time for them to really part ways. I do.”

Andy Cohen appeared stunned by his guest’s opinion, prompting Catania to explain that she does not “want” Giudice, 50, to cut off communication with her brother, 48, and sister-in-law, 43, but it might be the best option for the three of them.

“If there’s no peace in their life being together, then I think it’s time,” she said.

“RHONJ” Season 13 started off rocky, with the Gorgas not attending Giudice’s 50th birthday party in May 2022 due to a texting miscommunication.

Their rift only worsened as filming continued, ending in an explosive finale fight that resulted in the Gorgas not attending Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas in August.

Page Six exclusively reported at the time that several cast members had spread rumors that Melissa cheated on Joe with her longtime friend Nick Barrotta. However, insiders told us the couple, who have been married since 2004, “laughed off” the allegations.

“RHONJ” cast member Margaret Josephs shared in a recent episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that Jennifer Aydin played more of a role in the gossip than Giudice.

However, Josephs, 55, added, “I wish Teresa would have prevented it.”

Newcomer Danielle Cabral, meanwhile, told us she thinks Giudice will be “vindicated” as fans watch the new season.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” aires Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
