Real Housewives Of New Jersey Rookie Rachel Fuda Says Teresa Giudice Wrote Her Off For Being Friends With Melissa Gorga

Reality TV

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s 13th season, which is airing February 7, 2023 on Bravo, will be one of the best Real Housewives seasons ever. With drama coming from every corner, intense feuds, and more Giudice/Gorga table slams, it’s clear why RHONJ remains supreme.

This season will feature a little bit of a cast shakeup. Jackie Goldschneider, who has been a full-time Housewife for four seasons, will be a “friend” of the show. Taking her place are two newbies, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda.

From the trailer, it’s clear Danielle is team Jennifer Aydin and Teresa Giudice. Rachel hangs with Margaret Josephs and Melissa Gorga. We see the newbie getting into heated arguments with both the RHONJ OG and her protege, which led fans to believe her biggest storyline will be taking on the problems of her co-stars.

In a new interview with Page Six, Rachel revealed Teresa wrote her off “automatically” because of her relationship with Melissa.

“So, coming on the show as Melissa’s friend … I personally felt like I was immediately polarized — even without polarizing myself,” Rachel explained on an upcoming episode of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.

“Just put Melissa next to me and I’m, like, written off automatically, which sucks for me because I would have liked a fair chance to have gotten to know Teresa and maybe flourish our own friendship,” Rachel said.

It’s likely that Teresa and Jennifer chose to keep their distance from Melissa’s new bestie since neither of them has the best relationship with the other. RHONJ’s Season 12 reunion was rough for Teresa, Melissa, Joe Gorga, and of course, Jennifer. Teresa’s bestie took a lot of heat, even if it wasn’t deserved. However, just as Rachel felt written off, I’m curious if Danielle will feel the same way.

Rachel told Page Six that she and Teresa have a lot in common as it relates to their blended families and hoped the pair could’ve formed a blossoming friendship.

“Who knows what would have been possible? She also has a blended family and we talk a little bit about that during the season,” she said. But for Teresa, that clearly wasn’t enough to break down her wall. “But we’re just immediately polarized, I feel like, which sucks because it doesn’t need to be like that.”
