Bethenny Frankel said it’s “f–ked up” that Brandi Glanville allegedly inappropriately touched Caroline Manzo in her vaginal area while filming “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
“So, I’m thinking about Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo and how I have been publicly criticized about having a podcast called ‘ReWives’ when I’ve quote unquote ‘trashed the Housewives,’” the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 52, began in a TikTok video that was shared on Tuesday.
Frankel claimed the Bravo franchise “celebrates fraud and infidelity and going to jail,” adding, “It really does capitalize off that.”
“I feel badly for Caroline, who’s a respectable woman who took a hit during the pandemic who wants to make a little bit of money — and she’s a great Housewife,” the Skinnygirl founder added.
“That got taken away from her on a trip that was probably magical. It’s Morocco, I mean, how lucky are they?”
“So, I just think the whole thing’s f–ked up as I’m sure you do as well. Our society consumes other people’s grief and hardship with a voracious appetite,” she concluded.
Frankel’s remarks come one day after Page Six exclusively reported that Glanville, 50, allegedly touched Manzo’s breast and genital area.
Multiple sources told us that the cast was partying in a private home when Glanville, 50, “stuck her tongue down [Manzo’s] throat.”
We were told that the alleged incident made Manzo, 61, uncomfortable. She then went into a bathroom, where Glanville allegedly locked the door and “pinned Caroline” against the wall.
“She put her hands on Caroline’s breast area and vaginal area,” a source familiar with the incident told Page Six.
The former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star requested to be moved to a hotel to get “out of the situation.” She returned to the US on Jan. 27, leaving filming early. Glanville also departed filming early after production asked her to leave, we’re told.
Reps for Shed and Peacock, the production companies behind “RHUGT,” released a joint statement to Page Six about the incident.
“The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously,” the statement read. “In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”
On Monday, Glanville seemingly reacted to the news of the alleged contact on social media, tweeting, “Check your sources people!!!! 💩.”
A rep for the reality star declined to comment on her cryptic message.
