Vanderpump Rules Star Lala Kent Admits That She Might Look Like A “Hypocrite” In Season 10

Reality TV

Cast shenanigans in real time have built up so much anticipation for Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, and the teaser trailer has delivered another dollop of it. How is it another week until the premiere, and what to do to pass the time?

As Scheana Shay noted in the trailer, the cast is mostly single now. They were filming during summer, and everything was caught on camera. Enough said. We get a glimpse of Raquel Leviss on a date with Peter Madrigal, followed by her infamous hook up with Tom Schwartz at Scheana and Brock Daviesdestination wedding. And the fallout Tom had with ex-wife Katie Maloney over it.

Tom and bestie Tom Sandoval can’t get their restaurant open. Lisa Vanderpump is back in full glory, opening Vanderpump `a Paris in Las Vegas. James Kennedy plans to impregnate his new girlfriend Ally Lewber, who tells him to cut out the drinking.

Finally, we catch up with Lala Kent who excised the weak link out of her life. Yet, the mother of one is seen emotional over accusations made against her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. And according to comments she made on her podcast, Give Them Lala, Ms. Kent will also be approaching her friendships differently this season.

Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported that Lala said, “There’s so much that happens” between the cast on Season 10.

“We’re a passionate group. The littlest things set us off. Most people that can shake things off, our group maybe has a little bit of a tougher time,” Lala explained. “Things that happened four, five, six years ago — that most people would be like, ‘That happened a really long time ago and people change,’ — our cast is like, ‘Nope! Holding you accountable still for that.’ It’s a lot,” she added.

So drama from the past is on the table for further dissection. In the spirit of Pump Rules seasons past, it has been said that Season 10 has the feel of earlier seasons. Though Lala insists that her personal growth collides with the person co-stars remember from before.

“I think my past and things that I have said and done are going to collide with the person I am now,” Lala said. “And there’s going to be a lot of people who call me a hypocrite and want to hang onto that person that I used to be.”

But Lala met those that challenged her hypocrisy with an open mind. “I have to be okay with those people who call me out,” she said.

Does this mean Lala will be reacting differently to her friends? Will anyone miss the reactionary Lala that we’ve come to expect?
