“Family Karma” star Rish Karam is in the hot seat — once again — on the Bravo reality show.
In Page Six’s exclusive preview of Sunday’s all-new episode, the hunky Miami businessman feels the pressure to propose to his girlfriend, Monica Vaswani, after escaping cheating rumors this season.
“They were supposed to get engaged September last year. It’s now February [2022],” Anisha Ramakrishna points out during a group get-together.
“Was there a hard deadline if September of last year?” Karam, 29, responds before addressing Vaswani, 30, directly: “I don’t think there was.”
Vaswani, who has made it abundantly clear that she’d like to get engaged to Karam, reminds him that he did promise to get down on one knee before she hit the big 3-0. (She was 29 at the time of filming.)
“It was going to be before 30,” she laments. “It just got pushed to 31.”
Bali Chainani then chimes in to say that Karam’s seeming disinterest in commitment does not look good in tandem with his alleged infidelity.
“September of last year and now there’s literally ridiculous rumors [about you],” the outspoken 48-year-old says in our preview.
Karam was accused of being unfaithful by his brother’s girlfriend, Nirja, a noted frenemy of Vaswani’s. The hearsay quickly made its way to castmate Amrit Kapai, who accidentally spilled the beans after having too much to drink.
Kapai’s loose lips caused major drama among the “Family Karma” crew, prompting the attorney, 34, to offer heartfelt apologies to both Karam and Vaswani for perpetuating the gossip. The couple ultimately forgave Kapai.
Meanwhile, Karam vehemently denied the allegations and Vaswani chose to believe him.
However, the stunning tech specialist doesn’t seem to believe that she will ever tie the knot — at least not with her current beau.
“To be honest, by 30 I thought that I would be starting this next chapter, be married, have children. So I’m at a loss. I’ve done everything the right way until now. I have the 9-to-5 job, I have the respect of my parents,” she says in a confessional.
“But what am I doing this all for? Maybe I do need to shake things up because this is the first time in my life where I feel like I don’t know where my life is potentially headed.”
By the end of the scene, Karam is reminded to not take his relationship with Vaswani for granted.
“Take care of her, she deserves it,” Chainani tells him. “She’s the one.”
“Family Karma” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
