‘Vampire Survivors’ Receiving New “Legacy of the Moonspell” DLC Soon

Horror

It’s that time of year again. Tripwire Interactive have once again unleashed holiday horror in Killing Floor 2 with Polar Distress, the new free content pack that’s available today. The update boasts a new featured community map, weekly mode and weapons, as well as quality-of-life improvements.

Runing from December 7 to January 10, Polar Distress brings a wealth of new Killing Floor 2 content for the holiday season. Crash is the new community Survival map, and  lets players loose on an icy compound, full of Zeds around each corner, and a new set of map objectives for players to complete. It’s also compatible with Survival, Weekly, Versus, and Endless Game Modes.

Speaking of Weekly Game Modes, Perk Roulette spices things up by no longer allowing you to choose your perk. Instead, for each wave, you’ll have to adapt to the perk assigned. Use snap judgment and make the best with what you got! Completing this challenge earns you the Perk Roulette Backpack.

As a bonus, those who complete all the seasonal map time-limited objectives will earn a special Train Conductor Companion. Additional update content includes two new paid DLC weapons in the HV Storm Cannon and Zed Eradicator Device MK III. These have five skin-variant cosmetics each. You also have two free HRG weapons in the HRG Medic Missile and HRG Ballistic Bouncer.

Lastly, there’s the four new Weapons Skin Bundles and one Outfit Bundle:

  • Retro Gamer Weapon Skin Bundle Pack
  • Chameleon MK III Weapon Skin Bundle Pack
  • Medieval Weapon Skin Bundle Pack
  • Tacticool Weapon Skin Bundle Pack
  • Train Conductor Outfit Bundle

Killing Floor 2 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
