“So Much Wine” is the latest holiday offering from Bridgers, who’s previously covered “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” Tom Waits’ “Day After Tomorrow,” Merle Haggard’s “If We Make It Through December,” Simon & Garfunkel’s “7 O’Clock News / Silent Night,” and McCarthy Trenching’s “Christmas Song.” Coming up, Bridgers will voice Sally in Danny Elfman’s live The Nightmare Before Christmas concerts.
