Bruce Springsteen continued his residency on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a performance of the Commodores’ “Nightshift.” The cover appears on his latest LP Only the Strong Survive, which dropped last week. Check it out below.
This is the third of four nights Springsteen is scheduled to appear on the Tonight Show this week; on the first, he sat for an interview with Fallon, musing on the lyrics to his hit “Thunder Road” and Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour before performing Frank Wilson’s “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do).” For the second, he broke out his rendition of Jimmy and David Ruffin’s “Turn Back the Hands of Time.”
