Joe Gorga was caught screaming at his “Real Housewives of New Jersey” co-star Jennifer Aydin over the weekend, moments before she threw a drink at him at a BravoCon party.
“After BravoCon on Saturday night, me and Jen decided to go to a BravoCon afterparty,” Aydin’s social media assistant, Erica Madelyn, said in a video shared to TikTok Monday.
Madelyn explained that Jennifer’s husband, Bill Aydin, stayed back in the hotel while she and the reality star attended the afterparty for about 20 minutes. Jennifer got “a cup of water with ice,” which she “always” drinks, and then headed back to the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel – where all the Bravolebrities were camping out over the weekend.
“It’s when we walked into the hotel lobby that everything went down,” she continued.
“We walk in, Jennifer Aydin obviously noticed that Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga and their team were in the lobby. She looked, looked away [and] we went straight for the elevator. There was no interaction on Jen’s part.”
The assistant claimed that while they were waiting for the elevator, Melissa, 43, called Jennifer a “loser, f–king loser wannabe,” to which Jennifer, 45, told her to “shut the f–k up.”
“Shut up you f–king dirty bitch,” Joe, 43, screamed back at her, while one guy put his arm out to stop Joe from getting closer to Jennifer.
According to Madelyn, Jennifer felt “threatened enough” to throw a drink.
“You f–king loser,” Jennifer screamed as she threw her plastic cup with water in it. “You get the f–k out of here, you f–king piece of s–t. Don’t even f–king try to test me.”
Before the video cut off, Jennifer could also be heard screaming, “Stay away! You call me trashy and low class? She started [it]!”
The video also briefly shows fellow “RHONJ” star Frank Catania – cast member Dolores Catania’s ex-husband – seemingly trying to intervene.
“did frank and dolores come in to help jen?” one fan asked under the video, to which the assistant replied, “Frank did!! Dolores wasn’t present.”
Jennifer also commented on the video, seemingly giving her approval of the way her assistant told the story.
“It was all 3 of them, against 1 of me. He’s lucky it was only water,” Jennifer wrote.
The altercation occurred just hours after they each participated in separate “RHONJ” panels at BravoCon 2022.
While Melissa was on stage, fans asked her why the panel – which was originally set to feature all the “RHONJ” ladies – got split into two, and she insinuated that it was sister-in-law Teresa Giudice’s doing.
Fans then asked Giudice about it during her panel an hour later. When she heard that they put the blame on them, she fired back that the Gorgas are “holding on for dear life,” and “they’re going to say whatever they need to say to keep them” on ‘RHONJ.’”
However, Andy Cohen later confirmed that both the Gorgas and Giudice were to blame for the split panels.
“They’re really not in a good place, as you might have gathered,” Cohen, 54, told attendees on Sunday during the “Ask Andy” portion of the three-day convention at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
