Now streaming on Netflix, Day Shift turns Jamie Foxx into a vampire-slayer, and the movie has now received an official music video for the original song that plays over the end credits.

Jamie Foxx and co-star Dave Franco are featured in director Taylor Chien‘s video for “BUD (Mowing Down Vamps),” which also features J Young MDK and Sam Pounds.

Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco are “cuttin’ necks and cashin’ checks” in Netflix‘s vampire movie Day Shift, which sank its teeth into the streaming service on August 12th.

“Foxx stars as a hard working blue collar dad who wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international union of hunters.”

The cast also includes Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Snoop Dogg, Steve Howey, Scott Adkins, and Zion Broadnax.

JJ Perry directed Day Shift, written by Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review for Bloody Disgusting, “Day Shift makes for an easy, breezy action comedy that pays consistent tribute to The Lost Boys. There’s inventive staging for multiple vampire slaying sequences, and the unique contortions and physicality of the vampires bring some visual flair. It makes for a serviceable but ultimately forgettable romp.”
