Being Funny in a Foreign Language is out October 14 via Dirty Hit. The album title was first teased in postcards to fans back in June. The 1975 recorded the new record at Real World Studios in Wiltshire, England, as well as Electric Lady Studios in New York.
The new LP follows the band’s 2020 full-length Notes on a Conditional Form, and includes lead single “Part of the Band,” which arrived last month with a video directed by Samuel Bradley. The song features vocals from Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner on the chorus.
