Attorney ignites nasty feud with Erika Jayne after putting offer on her former home

Reality TV

One of the lawyers involved in the many ongoing lawsuits against Erika Jayne has bizarrely announced he’s attempting to buy her and Tom Girardi’s former home.

Ronald Richards — the former trustee attorney on Girardi’s bankruptcy case and current attorney in a $5 million fraud lawsuit against Jayneannounced Wednesday on Instagram that he and wife Lauren Boyette-Richards put a $6.9 million offer on the Pasadena, Calif., estate.

Ronald quipped that he hopes to “have [Jayne’s] deposition there along with other players in the case” and wants his “followers” to “see how the victims’ money was spent” by the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and her estranged husband.

“We will also use it for a public forum on first amendment activities, something Erika and her legal team strongly are against,” he claimed. “They want secret hearings and trials, not public scrutiny.”

Jayne — who has a history of getting into social media spats with the Twitter-happy lawyer — responded to the post, “Uhhh how are you going to get this ‘museum’ past the homeowners association? I think they like their privacy.”

“I knew you and your wife were SUPER FANS…. This really confirms it,” Jayne wrote to Ronald in another comment before asking Lauren, “Does it bother you that your husband is OBSESSED with me?”

Lauren responded that Jayne shouldn’t “flatter” herself and claimed the two have “never even seen the show,” while Ronald insisted he was merely “a fan of justice!”

“Still trying to help the victims Won’t stop until they get everything they are owed,” he added on his Instagram Story.

Earlier this week, Lauren leaked alleged DMs from Jayne that urged her to “stay out” of her legal issues and “be careful” because Ronald would soon “turn” on her.

“What makes you think he would ‘turn on me’? He’s nothing like Tom…” Lauren responded, to which Jayne allegedly replied, “Lauren, he is Tom.”

“Why would someone attack my spouse then pretend they are concerned?” Ronald tweeted in response to his wife’s messages, likely referring to a previous alleged Instagram comment from Jayne’s account that read, “Lauren, get back on all fours and take it in the ass from that beast you’re married to 🍆💦.”

As for the Pasadena palace in question, Richards told his Instagram followers the property would be “rehabbed and liquidated after the Estate proceeds are disbursed.”

“We are hopeful there are no further delays in selling this deteriorating asset that is having its equity eroded on a monthly basis,” he wrote. “Let’s finally make a deal.”

Some Instagram users felt the offer was “unethical given [Richards’] involvement,” while others praised it as a “gangster style type of move 🔥.”

And a few — perhaps fans of the dramatic Bravo reality show — commented things like, “😂😂😂😂 you are so messy.”

The lavish, Mediterranean-style stunner went into foreclosure in March after having spent nearly a year on the market without any offers.

Initially listed for $13 million last May, the price was slashed down a fifth time to just $7.98 million, which is still more than $1 million over Richards’ bid.

Girardi’s longtime home — which he purchased in 1980 for $1.3 million — was previously seized by the bank because the disgraced former attorney had little-to-no assets left. Then at the end of 2020, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s office placed an involuntary lien on the estate after he failed to pay property taxes.

The co-founder of the now-defunct Girardi & Keese law firm allegedly misappropriated millions of settlement dollars intended for plane crash victims, which — amid other lawsuits — forced him into bankruptcy.

The 83-year-old was supposed to remain at the Pasadena address until finding a buyer, but was moved into an assisted living facility following his late-onset Alzheimer’s and dementia diagnosis last March.

As for Jayne, she continues to deny that she had any knowledge of Girardi’s alleged misdeeds and has refused to cough up money, assets and information.

The “Pretty Mess” singer, 51, filed for divorce in November 2020 after almost 21 years of marriage and now lives in a modest LA rental home.
