I’ve been watching Ramona Singer from the dawn of Real Housewives of New York. And for the life of me, I can’t remember a time when she was actually embarrassed. We all know she has had plenty of embarrassing moments, but she seems to lack the self awareness to actually see her folly. And her apologies don’t count because we have been there done that with her too many times.
But after accidentally leaking pal Teresa Giudice’s wedding invite to all of Instagram and beyond, Ramona is finally blushing. As reported by Page Six, the Housewives veteran went on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live with her tail between her legs (sort of). She told host Jeff Lewis,“Well, they’re definitely gonna need more security, that’s for sure.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG was scheduled to marry fiance Luis “Louie”Ruelas in New Jersey on August 6th.
When Jeff asked if Tre had to change her plans, Ramona responded, “I don’t know. I have yet to pick up the phone to speak to Teresa because I’m so embarrassed about what happened. I will find out later what’s gonna go on.” Ramona did note that she is still invited to the wedding and that the slip of the invite “wasn’t intentional.” She added that she was just “so excited” to receive “the most gorgeous invitation.” Ramona recalled, “I just thought, ‘OK, I shared this beautiful invite with everybody.’” But Ramona’s bubble was burst pretty quickly. She shared, “All of a sudden, I get a phone call. ‘Take it down, take it down!’”
But castmate Dolores Catania already revealed that Tre had to change some plans. Dolores confirmed, “She had to send out new invites. I don’t know what she changed on them. I didn’t see mine yet. I don’t know what’s being changed.” Ok, well clearly Dolores isn’t much help. But at least she knows how to keep her lip zipped. Sister-in-law/enemy Melissa Gorga also admitted that Tre had to change the details. Melissa told Entertainment Tonight, “That was crazy. [Teresa] had to send out a new invitation with a new password and new details.”
Thankfully, Teresa and Louie seem to be taking things in stride. In a recent interview, the two laughed it off as an “honest mistake.” Teresa remarked, “Now I’m gonna have to have extra security.” And while a few people have suggested she change her wedding date, Tre hasn’t confirmed it. Which is obviously for the best.
