Kyle Richards doesn’t believe Sutton Stracke told a darker, more “problematic” story than what was shown on “RHOBH,” despite Crystal Kung Minkoff’s claims.
Richards alleged on Wednesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” that Minkoff “flat out lied” when she suggested Stracke told a darker story than one about her daughter having “multicultural” friends over for a pool party.
“She flat out lied,” Richards, 53, told host Andy Cohen. “She is a newbie and a rookie, and she didn’t think that they would use a little thing called a flashback.
“So then when we showed the flashback, it clearly wasn’t enough for her and the audience or whatever. She came on here and said, ‘Oh, it’s actually worse than that.’”
The OG Housewife further explained that if Minkoff, 39, was telling the truth about Stracke, 50, telling a “dark” story, producers “would’ve shown it.”
“You guys do us no favors, as you know,” Richards concluded.
The southern socialite became the target of drama after Minkoff claimed she made a comment so bad that it couldn’t be repeated.
After being interrogated by the rest of the cast, a flashback showed Stracke telling Minkoff that her daughter had “multicultural friends,” which Minkoff found to be “dark.” The rest of the “Housewives” vocally disagreed with their castmate’s feelings.
However, during her own appearance on “WWHL” on June 8, Minkoff suggested Stracke actually said something more “problematic” that was not shown on the small screen, but she didn’t want to bring it more attention.
“Look, Sutton and I know what was said, and we’ve spoken at length about it, and she has apologized to me privately and publicly,” she said.
Minkoff and Stracke first butted heads last season when the latter told the former — who is Asian — that she doesn’t “see color”
