Bretman Rock navigates mental health, family drama on Season 2 of MTV show

Reality TV

“MTV’s Following: Bretman Rock” is officially returning for a second season — and Page Six has an exclusive first look.

The trailer for the show’s sophomore installment sees its titular star navigate his mental health, booming career — and major family drama with his younger sister, Princess Mae

“I feel like I need a new start, a new chapter, a new season,” Mae, 22, says in the clip, suggesting that change is on the horizon for her relationship with Rock, 23.

“The more you guys hang out, the more you guys go at each other,” Rock’s assistant, Miss Kay, points out during a shopping trip with his influencer boss.

In another scene, Rock and Mae clash during a beach day in their native Hawaii.

“You want to f—king interrupt me!” Mae tells Rock, to which the digital superstar fires back, “You’re not about to diss me right here.”

Later, Mae admits to Rock during a car ride, “I feel like I’m not good enough for you.”

While the catalyst for the sibling conflict remains a mystery, fans can be certain that Rock keeps it real on Season 2 of his reality series.

“I’m not about to say I’m proud of you just for the cameras,” he bluntly tells Mae during a two-on-one confessional.

More fighting ensues before an unknown voice puts things into perspective for Rock, telling him during a phone call, “You and your sister are just different people and she might not want the future that maybe she’s destined to have.”

Rock’s mental health seems to be affected by the discord. “This is too much!” he exclaims during a moment of frustration.

“I don’t know if I can do this,” Mae adds later, burying her face into her hands.

“I hate saying I’m burnt out from her,” Rock says in the sneak peek. “But I really am.”

The new season of “Following: Bretman Rock” will capture his attempts to save his fractured relationship with Mae. However, his efforts are interrupted by past traumas that resurface, a budding business and emotional exhaustion.

The candle may be burning at both ends, but Rock isn’t letting his flame fizzle out anytime soon.

“To make a fire, you need three things: fuel, air and a bad bitch,” he says in the preview, the perfect metaphor for his rise to fame.
