Christine Quinn Slams Selling Sunset For Only Wanting To Portray Her As A Mother Despite ‘Legitimate’ Real Estate Work

Reality TV

No matter what, Christine Quinn is no stranger when it comes to handling any mess going down. Being seen by her castmates as the villain on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, the luxury real estate agent is certainly familiar with controversy. What is different though is this time the beef is with the show’s production team.

According to DailyMail, when looking back at her storyline on the hit show which just wrapped the 5th season, Christine was not too happy with the way she was portrayed. The realtor slung her luscious blonde locks behind her shoulder as she solidified her disapproval by labeling show producers as “misogynistic”. The blonde beauty shared that she is convinced production only wanted to show her as a mother.

The realty reality star — who welcomed a son with her software-mogul husband Christian Richard— showcased her baby journey on Season 4 of the Netflix hit show. Christine and Christian married in December 2019 after getting engaged on Valentine’s Day the previous year. After giving birth, as if we would expect anything less, Christine did not disappoint when she immediately slid back on her stilettos and pounded the red-bottomed heels on the pavement back towards The Oppenheim Group office.

Things were different though. Christine revealed she was pushed by production to focus more on her baby: “I had a lot of real estate going on at the time and a lot of legitimate work, but they didn’t want to show my listings.” She went on to even share that production would ask, “why don’t you bring the baby into the office” and “why don’t you do a baby scene with Chelsea (Lazkani).” Christine then added: “I felt that was a very misogynistic perception,” before proudly proclaiming, “I’m a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur, a friend, a lover.” Also adding, in true Christine form, “I’m all these other things and I’m crushing it.”

Where Christine’s future on the show lies is wrapped in uncertainty as she has now terminated her contract with the Oppenheim Group so she can focus on launching her new crypto real estate business RealOpen with her husband. She revealed that she plans to be a part of Season 6 if the show is lit for another season. For now, you can watch all the drama unfold between Christine, Heather El Moussa, Chrishelle Stause, and all the other luxury real estate agents of Selling Sunset on Season 5 of the popular Netflix show, which has already aired the full season and reunion episode of the reality drama.
