Kathy Hilton claims that the cryptic quote she posted about a “narcissist” back in May “was not about” any of her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars.
“It really was not about anybody on the show,” the “friend of,” 63, told Entertainment Tonight at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted.
“No, because if you read [it], it’s somebody you’re very close with that … I mean, just go read it yourself. I have a few people that I know that are actually not on TV.”
Hilton added that her true followers know she “follow[s] a lot of these [accounts],” and she “always come[s] up with that stuff.”
As previously reported, Hilton shared a quote to her Instagram Stories last month that shaded a “narcissist” or two in her life.
“A narcissist, however, will only be there for you because they need it,” the graphic, from Instagram account @understandingthenarc, read. “To feed on the drama. To promote their fake persona of ‘being that great person who is always there for others,’ with no follow through. To build your debt of obligation to them.”
In addition to sharing it to her Stories, Hilton also commented on the post, “So true!!!!!”
That same day, the “Paris In Love” star also posted – and then deleted – two different memes of tea, leading fans to believe she was about to spill some major info.
“I just thought that [meme] was so cute because I’m a big tea lover and we’re always hearing about tea, so,” she explained to ET.
Hilton has yet to appear on the current season of “RHOBH,” but the trailer teased she has a tough season with half-sister Kyle Richards.
“I feel like you hate me or something. How could you say those things?” Richards, 53, asked her sister through tears in an emotional conversation.
In May, Richards also told Page Six that her relationship with Hilton is “complicated and complex.”
“It’s so complicated and complex. All I can say is, we’re family and we’re going to have these moments,” she told us at the 2022 NBCUniversal Upfront in New York City.
“I feel like my sisters and I, we have arguments, we make up, we’re blood. I don’t know if everyone is like that. The fact that we’re on television complicates things.”
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
