She delivered the title track of her new album with a full band, including string section and lap steel
Angel Olsen was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. She performed the title track from her new album Big Time, joined by a full band, including a small string section and lap steel guitarist. Watch it happen below.
The album arrived last week alongside a short film with Kimberly Stuckwisch. The country record was made with co-producer Jonathan Wilson. It deals with the recent passing of both of her parents. Olsen also recently covered the Bob Dylan song “One Too Many Mornings” for the Shining Girls soundtrack, with proceeds being directed to the gun-control nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety.
