Erika Jayne Is Upset Garcelle Beauvais Is Resistant To Her Friendship; Doesn’t Regret Throwing Out Book On Video

Reality TV

It doesn’t seem like Erika Jayne regrets much these days. Or any days prior. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is known for her no give a f— attitude. And she’s stayed true to that, even while facing the stigma of being associated with her husbands’ alleged misdeeds. Like Erika told Garcelle Beauvais at the start of this season – she will never get away from orphans and widows. But that hasn’t stopped her from saying “I don’t give a f–k about anybody else but me.” Yeah, we know.

So I’m not surprised that in Erika’s latest interview, she admitted she doesn’t regret throwing Garcelle’s book in the trash after a recent internet beef. But what really seems to be bothering Erika is that Garcelle isn’t really interested in her friendship. Erika shared her thoughts on an episode of Us Weekly’s Getting Real with the Housewives podcast. She started, “When [Garcelle] came to the group, I was really excited and she even said, ‘Erika was the most welcoming.’”

Erika continued, “It’s upsetting to see that Garcelle is resistant to what I’ve been trying to say and has gone the other way and that’s her opinion and she has every right to do that, but I have every right to feel how I feel about it.”

While Erika isn’t giving us the details on what happened, their internet fight started at the end of January. Both Garcelle and Sutton Stracke unfollowed Erika on social media. Garcelle later revealed her reasoning. Said Garcelle, “OK, all I can say is, she called me something that I did not like, and so therefore, when somebody offends you in a way, I don’t want to see her posts, I don’t want to put a little like. So, I thought, I’m going to unfollow her, I don’t want to see her posts. Did I know it was going to cause World War 3?”’

Things then escalated when Garcelle made a cheeky plug for her memoir using another scene from the trailer. In the scene, Garcelle tells Erika, “I don’t have to make you look bad, you can do that on your own.” Garcelle captioned that Instagram post, “You know how else you can look bad all on your own? By not pre-ordering your copy of #LoveMeAsIAm before it comes out on Tuesday.” Erika clearly wasn’t amused and shared her throwing her free copy of Garcelle’s book in the trash. What a time to be a housewives fan, ammirite?

So what was behind Erika’s comment about Erika looking bad? Erika stated, “I was just asking her if it would be convenient for her to say, ‘Erika has a problem.’”
