Dolores Catania called Jennifer Aydin a “f–king c–t” for claiming the former told her ex-husband to deny digging up dirt on the Goldschneiders.
“Don’t call me a f—king c—t!” Aydin shot back during Tuesday night’s third and final installment of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 12 reunion. “Are you kidding? Relax! What do you mean, a c—t?”
Dolores, 51, then replied, “You’re f—king nuts. You’re out of your f—king mind.”
Teresa Giudice previously spread an unfounded rumor that Jackie Goldschneider’s husband, Evan Goldschneider, had been unfaithful. This season, Frank Catania claimed to Margaret Josephs that Aydin encouraged him to reveal the identity of the unnamed woman.
“She called me. She told me I have pictures. I never thought that Evan even cheated,” Frank said this season. “And she goes, ‘[You] have pictures.’”
At the reunion, Aydin, 45, insisted that her request wasn’t arbitrary. “You did bring up something at that dinner. I need the closure,” she told Frank. “I just want you to acknowledge that I didn’t just call you out of the blue and just asked you like I’m investigating.”
Frank brushed off Aydin’s claim that he mentioned the alleged affair during an off-camera dinner with her and husband Dr. Bill Aydin. He did, however, assert that Dolores never told him to say anything on the show.
“Let me get something straight,” he told Jennifer. “Dolores has never told me to say something, don’t say something — never.”
By the end of the reunion, Dolores admitted that she is grateful to star on “New Jersey” with the current cast, also including Melissa Gorga, no matter how fractured their friendships may become.
“No matter how much we’re fighting, I wouldn’t share these couches with anybody else because we all have the same heart at the end of the day,” she said.
“So am I still a c—t?” Jennifer then asked, to which a flustered Dolores replied with a laugh, “Yeah, no.”
Last week, Dolores explained to Page Six that she is “done” with Jennifer for good because of the way her co-star treated her leading up to the reunion.
“The way she spoke about me was unwarranted,” said Dolores, whom Jennifer branded a “jerk” in an interview while the season was airing.
“I feel like it’s probably better for both me and Jen,” she said of calling it quits on their friendship.
“The way I left that reunion is the way it will stay. This is the way it is. This is fine. I don’t have to be everyone’s friend. I’m not used to being treated like this by women — sorry — or anyone because I don’t deserve it.”
