No one can deny that JoJo Siwa has already racked up many achievements. After departing Dance Moms, JoJo wrote her memoir at just 14 years old, along with three other books. Wow!
Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars presented some curveballs for the contestants. Pro dancer Cheryl Burke likened the season to Survivor.
JoJo made DWTS history. She was the first contestant to dance with a same-sex partner. JoJo was partnered with Jenna Johnson, and the duo was amazing together. They lit up the ballroom every time they performed. Jenna and JoJo made it to the finale. In a surprising twist, NBA star Iman Shumpert and his pro partner, Daniella Karagach, clinched the mirror ball. JoJo and Jenna took second place.
When the competition was over, JoJo was grateful. She explained, “I will take second every single day if that means that I got to make it to the finale. If it means I got to make the friend that I did in Jenna.” JoJo added, “It’s worth so much to me and I’m so grateful forever.”
Page Six reported that JoJo is giving her relationship with her ex-girlfriend Kylie Prew another shot. JoJo confirmed the news in posts on Instagram and on Twitter. She posted photos of herself with Kylie at Disney World. In one photo, JoJo kissed Kylie on the cheek, and in the other the duo was hugging each other. “If you love something let it go, if it comes back….” JoJo captioned the photos, along with a white heart and infinity emoji.
JoJo’s fans reached out to share their reaction. “Love this photo! You know I adore the 2 of you together!” a follower commented on JoJo’s Instagram. “WE KNEW IT! you guys are such an amazing couple,” a fan said. Jenna posted, “Cutiesssss” along with a smiley face emoji. Daniella posted a purple heart.
JoJo and Kylie began dating in 2021, which was right around the time that JoJo announced that she was gay. According to the New York Post, JoJo talked about her romance with Kylie in February of 2021 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world,” JoJo shared.

It was Kylie who inspired JoJo to reveal the truth about her sexuality. “One day I was on FaceTime with my girlfriend … and I was like, ‘I kind of just want to post this picture on my [Instagram] Story,’” JoJo explained. “She was super encouraging, she was like, ‘Do it’ and I was like, ‘Alright’ and I did it … [then I went] back to FaceTiming with her.”
In November of 2021, Page Six reported that JoJo announced her breakup with Kylie during an interview with Paris Hilton on the This Is Paris podcast.
JoJo stated, “I have yet to talk about this officially, publicly, but we broke up. But she is literally still my best friend.” JoJo continued, “She’s awesome. She’s having the time of her life; I’m having the time of my life.” The pop singer added, “I’m really lucky that I didn’t lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don’t have to end.”
