Sutton Stracke slammed Erika Jayne for seeking out “rich” men to date.
Stracke candidly discussed her dating life with co-star Kyle Richards on the Season 12 premiere of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Wednesday when Richards brought up that Jayne also began dating again via setup dates from friends.
“But I don’t care if they’re rich, so maybe my qualifications might be a little different than your friend’s,” Stracke, 50, bluntly told Richards, 53.
Stracke further explained in a confessional that she’s looking for someone with “character” and “humor,” because she has “[her] own money.”
“Maybe unlike Erika, I don’t need money,” she continued. “I don’t need that in order to make myself feel better. Maybe Erika misses her big house all the jewelry and the lifestyle, so she has to look for someone that can provide that for her.”
However, Jayne told Page Six that Stracke’s claims are way off.
“Well, that’s not true, because if that’s what I wanted, I would already have it,” she told us in an exclusive interview on Tuesday.
“If what I wanted was a man with money, I would already have one. So no … I value intelligence, a sense of humor and someone that’s really good at whatever it is that they do in life. That’s the kind of man I’m looking for.”
However, Jayne — who filed for divorce from disgraced attorney Tom Girardi in November 2020 after 21 years of marriage — previously told TMZ that she’s looking to date a “guy with money” in October.
The “Pretty Mess” singer revealed earlier in the premiere that she had been casually dating, but wasn’t looking for anything serious.
“I’m back in the dating pool, but I’m much more interested in having really good sex with nice people — and maybe some not so nice people,” Jayne said in a confessional.
Jayne, 50, had to make some downgrades from her previously lavish lifestyle – including moving from their $16 million Pasadena estate to a $1.5 million house.
Girardi was once one of the top lawyers in the country, but that all came crashing down when the estranged couple was sued by Edelson PC for allegedly embezzling settlement funds meant for the victims of the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 crash. Jayne — who has denied the allegations against her — has since been dismissed from that suit.
“I gave every paycheck to my husband,” Jayne said during last season’s reunion. “I’ve handed every paycheck I’ve ever made over.”
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
