Teresa Giudice apologizes to Joe Gorga after ‘RHONJ’ reunion: ‘I lost myself’

Reality TV

Teresa Giudice is sorry for calling her brother, Joe Gorga, a “bitch boy” during Tuesday’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion.

“I am so sorry did not mean that at all there was so much going on during the taping that I lost myself,” Giudice, 49, wrote in an Instagram comment to Gorga, 42, Friday, adding, “Love you tons ❤️ XOXO.”

The apology came in response to a clip from “The Wendy Williams Show” that Gorga shared on his page. In the video, guest host and noted Bravo fanatic Michael Rapaport blasted Giudice for making the “bitch boy” jab.

“Teresa, where in Jersey, New York, Idaho is ‘bitch boy’ not a bad thing? It’s always a bad thing, especially in New Jersey,” Rapaport, 52, said.

“Joe Gorga is so important and should be so beloved by everybody, including his sister, to ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ fans,” he continued.

The comedian then asserted that it was a “low blow to say that when husbands are involved in the wives’ business, they’re ‘bitch boys,’” adding, “Joe Gorga ain’t no bitch boy. Joe Gorga is great for the show.”

Gorga appreciated Rapaport’s remarks, writing in his caption, “Love you 🙏 @michaelrapaport @wendyshow.”

As viewers witnessed in part one of the “RHONJ” Season 12 reunion, Giudice slammed Gorga for being “too involved” in the “Housewives’” drama.

“He’s a little too much involved, that’s all I’m saying,” she said, noting that she would ask her fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, to “cool it” if he took a similar approach to confronting conflict on camera.

Later, an incensed Gorga told Giudice that he was “going to call Louie a bitch boy” upon his arrival to the set.

Giudice, seemingly unbothered, responded, “I love my bitch boy” — and insisted that being called a “bitch boy” is “not a bad thing.”

Gorga then threatened to quit the show and walked off stage, with host Andy Cohen trying to stop him. Earlier in the reunion, Cohen — like Rapaport — expressed support for Gorga’s participation on “New Jersey,” which he has been a part of since 2010.

“I love it that he’s involved,” Cohen, 53, stated, “and we invited him here.”

Part two of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
