Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger shocked their “The Ultimatum” co-stars when they walked on stage for the reunion and revealed she was seven months pregnant with a baby girl.
“As soon as we got married, I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s time to start making a family,’” Kissinger said in the Netflix special released Wednesday.
During the reality show’s finale, Ballatori, 25, and Kissinger, 26, not only got engaged, but they also decided to marry moments later on camera.
“Choosing Colby, being given the ultimatum, and choosing our marriage — it’s been such a gift,” Ballatori gushed at the reunion.
Ballatori added that she has felt “excellent” throughout her pregnancy, to which Kissinger chimed in to say his wife has been “handling it like a pro.”
“I’m loving every second,” she gushed.
The couple told E! News they found out Ballatori was pregnant in August 2021, three months after filming wrapped in May. She added in an Instagram post Wednesday that their baby girl is due in three weeks.
“Here’s to my husband- thank you for the most incredible year of my life,” Ballatori wrote alongside a video montage of the couple’s journey since the series.
“Being married to you and starting our family has been the greatest gift. I am beyond blessed to have such a passionate, loving, strong partner to share this life with. We are so lucky to be loved by you. – your girls💕.”
The parents-to-be joined the show after Kissinger gave Ballatori the ultimatum to either get engaged or break up. Ballatori then developed a romantic connection with Randall Griffin, while Kissinger got closer with April Marie. The couple eventually found their way back together, and Ballatori said she was “glad” he gave her the ultimatum.
“The Ultimatum” is streaming on Netflix.
