I may be in the minority here, but I miss Meghan King on Real Housewives of Orange County. Yes, she was a much younger trophy wife of dad-jean wearing Jim Edmonds. But what’s more RHOC than that? Just saying. Meghan brought a youthful exuberance to the show. Even Shannon Beador eventually changed her tune and had fun with Meghan.
And who can forget the investigative sleuthing Meghan did, on all of our behaves. She was the Nancy Drew we all needed, what with the whole Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers cancer scam of it all. You just known Briana Culberson is thankful.
Now that Heather Dubrow is back, and championing Gina Kirschenheiter, it would be fun to add Meghan back in the fold. Especially considering that Heather is how we first met Meghan, way back at the hoedown party she threw for Terry Dubrow. Onion Rings included. Thank you very much. Not to mention, for some reason, they keep replaying that party this season. It makes the perfect segue. But I digress.
Apparently, I’m not the only one who feels this way though. Meghan herself agrees. She’d like back on RHOC. And, according to E! News, she’s tried.
“I didn’t get it.” Meghan then quickly walked back the rejection. “I don’t think I would have been able to have done it. It’s a time commitment, and I’m in St. Louis. I would have had to move and everything.” Sure Jan. I’d totally believe you and all, if you hadn’t just moved to marry a man you met three weeks previously. Even if he is the president’s nephew.
And clearly, I’m not wrong, as Meghan continued to say she would be “definitely” willing to rejoin the cast, if she was asked. “I had so much fun. It was great.”
Meghan also feels like, “I’m a little bit boring, my Midwest sensibility. Like, I’m kind of just a normal person, you know, but I do interesting things.” Which would make sense and all, if Gina hadn’t just blasted that argument wide open, declaring on Watch What Happens Live that she is “enough.” Even with her small house, and lack of hosting abilities.
