“Tunnels of Terror” Launch Trailer For ‘Back 4 Blood’ Highlights New Features [Watch]

Horror

It won’t be much longer now for Back 4 Blood‘s new DLC expansion in “Tunnels of Terror”. The new expansion will launch April 12 for PC and consoles, and Turtle Rock Studios have unleashed a new trailer to highlight the new goodies within.

The trailer introduces two new playable Cleaners debuting in this expansion – Sharice, an axe-wielding firefighter known for her defensive prowess, and Heng, a tough as nails, no-nonsense restaurateur skilled at slaying Ridden with his knife. The trailer gives a detailed look at the new Ridden Hives PvE co-op mode, where teams of up to four players can explore the depths of seven Ridden infested labyrinths.

To earn rewards in this mode, players must outmanoeuvre the new Warped Ridden, including the landmine-setting Urchins, Shredders, and Rippers. And if you like the cut of their jib, these Ridden variations are also playable in PvP Swarm mode and can be earned, along with the new Cleaners, for use in PvP matches.

Additionally, Tunnels of Terror will introduce for players seven new legendary weapons, eight exclusive character skins, 12 new weapon skins, new cards, and more. On top of all of that, the expansion will also have the No Hope difficulty, a free update for those looking for more challenge. All of the playable content included in the expansion will be accessible by all players in a party as long as one player in that party has purchased the expansion.

You can snag Tunnels of Terror as part of the Back 4 Blood: Ultimate Edition, Back 4 Blood: Deluxe Edition, the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, or via standalone purchase.

Back 4 Blood is available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
