midnight trailer horror movie

Fear grips the country of South Korea as a serial killer (Squid Game‘s Wi Ha-joon) stalks its residents in Midnight, which is now available On Demand today, April 5th.

In the film, “Kyung-mi (Jim Ki-joo), a deaf woman, is out late with her mother when she stumbles upon a young woman bleeding out in a dark alley. Now a witness to the killer’s brutal crime, Kyung-mi is being ruthlessly hunted down. Will she survive or become his victim?”

Silence kills in Kwon Oh-seung‘s thriller. Watch the Midnight trailer below.

Meagan reviewed Midnight for Bloody Disgusting at Fantasia last year, writing: “Kwon Oh-seung impresses with a propulsive, thrilling debut that makes creative use of sound. Even if the destination feels more like a safer bet, the journey getting there takes surprising and oft intense detours that easily make it one worth taking.”

The final new release for today is the revenge thriller Bull, which Bloody Disgusting’s head critic Meagan Navarro recently raved about in her 4-star review out of Fantasia last year.

Meagan writes in her review of Paul Andrew Williams‘ film, “This revenge-thriller may read like a classic crime tale, but how it plays out ensures it’s one for the horror fan.”

In Bull, Neil Maskell stars as “a vicious mob enforcer seeking revenge on the gang that double-crossed him. Ten years after he was last seen, Bull returns home to methodically track down those who betrayed him and find his beloved son. Bull stalks his former gang, leading up to a savage showdown between his wife and her mob boss father.”

Some claim she is God; some claim she is pure evil. They soon learn that not all miracles are holy.”

Chad Tailor (“Paranormal Witness”), Mélie B Rondeau, Katie Fleming, Chris Kelly, Domenic Derose, Nicole Fairbairn, JoAnn Bundock, and Flora Burke star in this one.

Says writer/director Ali Akbar Akbar Kamal, “Growing up in a religious community in the middle east, I always had a fascination with other worldly beings. As a child I would often hear things like “You will burn for eternity if you commit a sin” or “you will go blind if you question God”. All of which struck terror in my heart.”
