However, viewers now believe that Mike was also using Ximena, as he appeared furious when she didn’t want to sleep with him. Ximena admitted to being repulsed by Mike and no longer being in love with him. This resulted in her finally ending the relationship. A vengeful Mike then told Ximena that he wanted all of the presents back that he had gifted her throughout their relationship.
While Mike’s harsh reaction to being dumped upset viewers, many appreciated how Ximena reacted. Reddit user Hot-Bluejay-577 shared a screenshot of the conversation between Mike and Ximena that saw him demanding his presents back in what many viewers interpreted as an act of manipulation. “Did Mike think Ximena would change her mind and stay with him by saying this?” the user wrote. Many viewers were impressed that rather than argue with Mike, a calm Ximena agreed to return everything if Mike left her alone. Such a response impressed viewers who had first accused Ximena of using Mike for money since it demonstrated that she set a boundary and wasn’t going to compromise herself for Mike.
Many viewers interpreted Mike’s threat as a low blow intended to insult Ximena. “He’s just trying to flex that she wouldn’t have any of it without him,” one commenter wrote. Other users questioned what Mike would do with furniture in Colombia.
