Randall Emmett Thinks It’s Inappropriate To Share Details Of Split From Lala Kent; Says He Will “Never Disparage” Her

Reality TV

Is Randall Emmett taking the high road? Ever since Lala Kent’s high profile split from the Hollywood producer, she hasn’t been shy about making her feelings known. The Vanderpump Rules star has dragged Randall in the press for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost for allegedly cheating on her, which ultimately ended their relationship. She shaded their sex life multiple times and called him “the worst thing to ever happen” to her. Randall has remained mum, with only friend Jesse Metcalfe speaking on his behalf. Jesse simply said that Randall was “focused on his family” after the split.

The former couple, who share daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, have had to work through a parenting app just to communicate. And Lala isn’t happy that Randall is posting pics of their daughter on social media. She went as far as to call them staged. But given Randall’s previous breakup experience with ex-wife Ambyr Childers, he might have learned to not fight back in the press.

So Randall is speaking out, but he’s not here to talk negatively about his former fiancé. As reported by Page Six, Randall appeared on Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s podcast, Genuinely GG, to explain. You might remember GG going after Lala for what she had to say about Randall publicly. Which might sound like a strange crossover, but Randall is apparently close friends with the Shahs of Sunset star.

Randall began, “I’ve made mistakes, she’s made mistakes, but I’m never going to bring that to light because that’s just not right.” He added, “For me, I just don’t feel it’s appropriate. I can’t tell her what to do. She’s a strong woman, and I just hope that in time that kind of all mellows out.”

Despite what Lala says about him, Randall is sticking with his plan to “never disparage” her. Said Randall, “She’s the mother of my child, so no matter what happens in life, I will never disparage or talk ill about her because she’s Ocean’s mom. The truth is, I just always have to look at the big picture, which is she’s the mother of Ocean, and I just can’t talk badly about the mother of my child. I just can’t do it — no matter what is said about me or what she says.”

He also explained that he won’t be publicly sharing more of his personal feelings about the matter. Randall stated, “I just feel like what I’m going through and what I’ve gone through, my mistakes and my accountability in that, she also has a side to it, which again, I will never go into, but I feel like at the end of the day, we have Ocean, we have this beautiful girl that is the most important thing. My feelings are not, in my opinion, they’re not relevant on a public platform.”

Given Randall’s career in Hollywood and how he even came to be in a relationship with Lala, he’s very familiar with negative press. He said he’s become “more patient” and “more tolerant” dealing with the hate after their breakup. Randall concluded, “My friends and my family know who I am, and we had a relationship, and we broke up, and we made mistakes, and she made mistakes.”
